This article helps you decide whether DoToo is a good fit for your yoga school or yoga classes.
DoToo combines separate modules. The more of these fit you as a yoga teacher, the more you get out of DoToo. Relevant modules that often suit yoga schools:
- Dotoos: your yoga classes
- Groups: recurring schedules with automatic planning
- Memberships
- Credit passes (tokens)
- Tickets: what participation costs and who can sign up
- Products: goods or digital downloads alongside your activities
- Chat and Newsletters
- Sharing: public pages and shareable links
A short word on each part below.
Dotoos
A dotoo is one scheduled activity with a date, time and location (or an online link). Do not confuse it with the brand name DoToo.
Create a dotoo for every yoga class. That way you build a schedule your customers can always check through the schedule of your business.
Customers sign up or cancel. So you see exactly who is coming. For free activities, guest sign-up (without an account) can be possible. For paid tickets, tokens or a membership an account is usually needed. DoToo is not in the App Store or Google Play: everyone works in the web app at play.dotoo.app, with an icon on the home screen if they like.

Groups
With the Groups module you set up a fixed group of participants with a recurring schedule, for example a weekly training session. For that you also need Group scheduling under Settings → Dotoos & schedule.
DoToo schedules upcoming dotoos ahead automatically (up to ten at a time) from a template and signs group members up in advance. Members who join later are signed up for the upcoming sessions too.
Typical examples: regular yoga groups, a group of trainers, or a closed series. Every group has a group chat via Actions → Chat.
Separately from that, you send updates to all members with the Newsletters module (there is no separate “newsletter group” anymore).

Memberships
If you offer a membership, DoToo handles the online payment and the recurring renewal through Stripe (for example monthly or yearly through variants).
Link the membership to a ticket of your dotoo. Members with that membership sign up without paying separately. Without a valid membership they cannot join, if you set it up that way.
You can pause, cancel or renew memberships. Invoicing details come from your business settings.
Alongside memberships you can keep offering credit passes and single tickets.

Credit passes
With credit passes your customers buy a bundle of tokens. On the ticket of a dotoo you set how many tokens participation costs and from which token category.
DoToo tracks the balance, invoices the purchase through Stripe and can return tokens within the transaction deadline if someone cancels in time.
Here too you can offer a membership and a single payment side by side for maximum flexibility.

Tickets
Every dotoo has at least one ticket type. With it you set the price (through Stripe), tokens, membership, capacity and who can join.
For a yoga class you could switch on: membership, tokens from a credit pass, and a single ticket of, say, €10. That way drop-in participants and guests pay their share without extra admin. Free tickets are possible too.
Paying online runs through Stripe (for example iDEAL or credit card). Without Stripe you are left with on-site and free.

Products
With the Products module you sell things like a yoga mat, a towel or a digital class package alongside your activities.
You build a catalog with variants (physical or digital). Payments run through Stripe. Digital files become available with the order; you arrange shipping of physical products yourself.

Chat
Every dotoo and every group can have a chat of its own. Handy for questions about one yoga class, without bothering a big WhatsApp group.
You send text, photos and documents. Notifications appear in the app and by email; there are no push notifications on the lock screen.
Questions for DoToo itself go through Support in the app, not through the regular business chat.

Sharing and visibility
Participants do not look you up inside DoToo. They come in through links that you share: your business page, your schedule or a single dotoo (Actions → Copy link) on play.dotoo.app.
Per dotoo you choose a Display type: Public, Members only or Hidden (direct link only).
That way you can keep yoga classes for members first and make them public later if there is still room. Extra reach comes from your website, your socials and your newsletter, not from a central “public list” inside DoToo.

Conclusion
Chances are DoToo is a good fit for your yoga classes, especially if you want your schedule, sign-ups, memberships or tokens and payments in one place.
Share your schedule through a link, or point to play.dotoo.app from your own website. Questions? Use Support in the app or get in touch via dotoo.app.
