Full? Automatic notice when a spot opens up.

People sign up when the class or series is full. If a spot opens up, they get a message. You do not have to email or call anyone by hand.

Full classes without a waiting list cost you time and revenue:

Waiting list on the class. Right from the detail page.

If an activity is full, people can put themselves on the waiting list from the class page. No separate admin: it sits in the same flow as bookings and your activities.

You see who is waiting. They know where they stand.

At the class

  • Full = waiting list. Right on the activity itself.

  • Sign up and cancel. People arrange it themselves.

  • Overview for your team. Who is waiting.

Spot available? Automatic message.

If someone cancels or capacity opens up, everyone on the waiting list is notified at the same time. Whoever responds and books first takes the spot. That fills open spots faster, without you picking up the phone.

Fewer empty spots. Less “I did not know there was still room.”

What happens automatically

  • Everyone notified at once. Whoever books first takes the spot.

  • Full again faster. Interest does not go to waste.

  • Calmer for your team. No ad-hoc lists to keep.

Also for recurring classes.

Besides a single class, you can have a waiting list on a recurring class. Think of the regular participants of a group class every Monday evening from 19:00 to 20:00. If that series is full, new prospects put themselves on the waiting list until there is room, for example when someone cancels.

That keeps interest visible, even if someone cannot join this week or next Monday.

With the group

  • Waiting list on the series. Not just on a single class.

  • Fits your rolling schedule. New sessions keep coming.

  • One story. Booking, waiting and scheduling in DoToo.

More professional than a chat group.

A waiting list in DoToo looks more serious than “add your name under this WhatsApp message.” People see it on the class page, you keep the overview, and the notification comes from the system.

That fits how you work otherwise: capacity, cancellations and bookings in one place, not spread across separate chat conversations.

Why it works

  • Clear for the customer. Waiting happens on the class itself.

  • Clear for you. No names lost in chats.

  • More seats filled. Open spots go to whoever is waiting, faster.

I used to send messages myself whenever a spot opened up. Now people join the waiting list and get a message automatically. Our classes stay fuller, without me chasing it.

Frequently asked questions

Waiting lists
When can people join the waiting list?

When an activity is full, they can put themselves on the waiting list from the class page. That works the same way as Bookings.

Are they notified automatically when a spot opens up?

Yes. When a spot becomes available, everyone on the waiting list is notified at the same time. Whoever responds and books first takes the spot. You do not have to email or call anyone by hand.

Does this work for recurring classes too?

Yes. Besides a single class, you can have a waiting list on a group or series. More about that on Recurring classes.

Can people take themselves off the waiting list again?

Yes. They can join and leave the waiting list on the activity, just like booking.

Do I see who is on the waiting list?

Yes. You and your team see who is waiting, so you keep an overview without loose lists outside DoToo.
